An Oxford Literary Quiz Night

In January 2023 Oxford Poetry Library will host “An Oxford Literary Quiz Night“: A pub quiz without a pub, a chance to show off your knowledge of poetry, prose, books and bookshops. We’ve got 100 questions, covering an eclectic range of literary subjects. And there will be bonus points available for the best limerick.
Do you know your Auster from your Austen? Your RR Martin from your RR Tolkien? Your Yeats from your Keats? Come along for an evening of fun and friendly quizzing competition.
The quiz will take place in The Community Works building, near Oxford Railway Station. Arrive from 7pm on Monday 16th January. Teams of up to 6 people. Bring your own drinks. £5 per person on the team, with all profits supporting the Oxford Poetry Library.
We’d particularly like to get teams representing the many bookish organisations in Oxford – libraries, colleges, bookshops, publishers, student groups and book clubs. But we’re equally open to any other teams, and any stray quizzers who can form ad-hoc teams on the night.
