By sponsoring a book at the Oxford Poetry Library, you will be helping to keep our wheels turning, our collection growing, and to keep our books in good nick. Sponsor your favourite book and we will put the money towards:
- Conservation work carried out on the books to protect them and replace them if they get damaged or lost
- Bike maintenance to ensure our mobile library stays in good condition
- Vital administrative work to keep books circulating and keep the library spreading the word about poetry
How to adopt a book
Adopt a book for £10 by following these simple steps:
- Choose your favourite book from our catalogue
- Email oxfordpoetrylibrary@gmail.com with your full name and the title of the book you want to adopt OR print out and fill in this form and bring it along to the library next time you see us
- Pay £10 through Paypal here OR bring £10 in cash next time you see us
When you adopt a book you will get:
1. A handmade bookplate in the front cover of your adopted book, stamped with your name:
2. A free OPL badge of our plum logo which you can pick up from the library (or which we will post to you if you are not Oxford-based)
3. Our undying gratitude for your contribution to helping us thrive and grow!
